As from 1997 ENATEC micro-cogen’s business is the development, production and marketing of free piston Stirling engines. These Stirling engines are characterized by their long life expectancy and reliability. They are maintenance free and, if the application is right, the efficiency is more than acceptable. Main commercial application of ENATEC’s Stirling engines is in micro-CHP, serving the household with space heating, hot water and electricity.

In 2005 ENATEC started cooperation with Rinnai (JP), Bosch Thermotechnik (DE), Merloni Thermo Sanitari (IT) and Infinia Corporation (US). This cooperation will lead to mass production and sales of micro CHP systems in Europe as from 2010.
